Parent Coordinator

Dear Rocco Laurie Families,

I would like to introduce myself to our school community and families this New Year. My name
is Stephanie Montanez-Miniero and I am the new Parent Coordinator here at I.S.72.

I have recently taken on this position since early December after sixteen wonderful years as a
Bilingual Paraprofessional across the street at P.S. 69. It has been a joy to walk through the halls
since I’ve started at I.S. 72 and seeing some of the students I have worked with. The looks on
their faces upon seeing me has been indescribable. Through the years, I have played many roles
in the school community and have been a leader and role model to others. I have built fantastic
relationships with not only the students I have worked with but also with their families and I
cannot wait to build new relationships with the families at this phenomenal middle school.

With that said, I’m here to help! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to
reach out by calling me at 718-698-5757 and selecting Extension #1782 or email me at
smontanez2@schools.nyc.gov.

I wish you all a happy, healthy, and safe 2022 and look forward to working with you all!

Best regards,

Stephanie Montanez-Miniero
